Last updated: April 6, 2026. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website and services offered by The Vault Los Angeles (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age requirements in your area. You are responsible for account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

Services

We provide a platform to discover, rent, and in some cases purchase luxury fashion and related items, subject to availability, seller or inventory participation, and geographic or operational limits described on the site or at checkout. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Rentals and orders

Rental periods, pricing, deposits, shipping windows, care instructions, return requirements, and fees are presented at checkout and in order confirmations. You agree to return items on time and in the condition required by your rental agreement. Late returns, damage beyond normal wear, loss, or failure to follow return instructions may result in additional charges, deposit retention, or collection of replacement value as described in your agreement and on our Insurance and related pages.

Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example, Stripe). You authorize us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for orders, deposits, fees, and applicable taxes. You represent that payment information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

Prohibited conduct

You may not misuse the services, interfere with other users or our systems, attempt to access data you are not authorized to view, use automated means to scrape or overload the site without permission, circumvent security, or use the services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, branding, text, graphics, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Item imagery and trademarks may belong to sellers or rights holders. No license is granted except as needed to use the services as offered.

Disclaimers

Except where prohibited by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the services is limited to the greater of fifty dollars (USD) or the amounts you paid to us for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim in the three months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes will be in state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You waive any right to participate in a class action where such waiver is enforceable.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the services.
